Angela Duckworth's "Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance" features our speaker, Tom Deierlein. Tom is a White Plains native, entrepreneur, and Purple Heart recipient. He shares his inspirational journey and how GRIT plays a role in his life, and how it can play a role in yours.

GRIT NIGHT
"An Evening of Grit" with Tom Deierlein. Angela Duckworth's "Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance" features our speaker, Tom Deierlein. This is part of the Malcolm Pray Speaker Series - Addresses various themes in automobiles, innovation, entrepreneurship and personal success.
This annual program is an inspirational presentation of the failures and accomplishments of Tom Deierlein, White Plains native, West Point graduate, US Army Ranger, Purple Heart recipient and successful entrepreneur. Tom was featured in Angela Duckworth's book, "Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance". His presentation very much shows what Angela Duckworth's research has concluded: person's who succeed have GRIT.
Tom brings us through the journey of his life and shows us how Grit has played a part each step of the way and how it can play a role in your life too.
