Our next free event is Thursday, November 16th, 2023 from 6-8:30PM, "An Evening of Grit" with Tom Deierlein. Angela Duckworth's "Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance" features our speaker, Tom Deierlein. Tom is a White Plains native, entrepreneur, and Purple Heart recipient. He shares his inspirational journey and how GRIT plays a role in his life, and how it can play a role in yours.

MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of this website is to explain how I use my extensive collection of vintage and sports cars to inspire school age children to be successful.
To date we have had over 6,000 visitors.
My message is clear ---
there is NOTHING IN LIFE YOU CANNOT ACHIEVE, and no matter what you do, you will be in the PEOPLE BUSINESS, and that your REPUTATION IS THE GREATEST ASSET THAT YOU HAVE.
Growing up like many kids, I had a passion for cars. I watched successful people and learned from teachers, Boy Scouts, the military and books, thatANYTHING could be done if you tried hard enough.
Over the years I built a vintage car collection, and between visits from my own kids friends and youth groups in the community, I was able to use the cars to encourage many young people to look at their future beyond their school years and develop people skills.
After forty-five years as an automobile dealer I sold my business so that I could concentrate on inspiring young people to succeed in life. I personally greet my visitors, give them a tour of the garages, and most importantly, I let them sit in the car of their choice. We then read together from the agenda booklet that I’ve created. The excerpts from the letters I have received tell the story of my success.
